Ask Hip Hop was established to document, protect and preserve the integrity of Hip Hop Culture. The core mission of Ask Hip Hop is answer any questions related to the culture of Hip Hop as accurately as possible with the help of our community.

Our collective goal is to ensure that all of the contributions that the culture of Hip Hop has made to society & the world at large are properly recorded for historical accuracy. By doing this we hope to have created a true Hip Hop resource site; a site that anyone intimately related to Hip Hop culture (or has a sincere desire to learn about the culture) can use to find consistent, relevant and accurate information and other resources.

Ask Hip Hop, along with our other properties, feel that by providing accurate information & telling the stories about the true history of Hip Hop & its significant impact on the world in our own words, we can prevent our legacy from being presented & preserved by those who don’t have the true interests of the culture at heart.

In order to achieve our mission, we use all of the available technology we have at our disposal to ensure that our site is the most relevant source for information on the web.

We hope that you feel our site is a true representation of the best that the culture has to offer. Our staff consists of Tru Hip Hop Headz with varied backgrounds, insight and relationships with the culture & we have hope that aesthetically and conceptually our site lives up to its core mission.
